Welcome to Voicifire. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Voicifire mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.

By accessing or using Voicifire, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Voicifire app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using Voicifire, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Voicifire is an AI-powered pronunciation practice application that allows users to:

  • Record audio of their speech
  • Receive AI-powered pronunciation analysis and feedback
  • Practice with various text-based exercises
  • Track their pronunciation improvement over time

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains personal information of others without consent

9.3 AI Limitations

Our AI-powered analysis is based on automated processing and may not always be accurate. Pronunciation feedback should be used as a learning aid, not as definitive assessment.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOICIFIRE AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voicifire and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, use our Data Deletion Request page or contact us.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws.

15. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts, depending on your jurisdiction.

EU users have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.

16. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Voicifire regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent.
